Along with Caroline Betemps, I began the first queer tango activities in Spain in 2010. Since then, we have created many workshops, events, regular classes, milongas, and two festivals, with growing communities in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia. As part of this endeavor, two international festivals took place, first the Quilombo Queer in Barcelona 2016 (visit Quilombo Queer on Facebook, website no longer exists), and second the Chamuyo Queer in Valencia in 2019 (chamuyoqueer.com)
